Community Engagement

As an organization, we support service learning. Studies suggest that people who volunteer are more likely to learn more about their interests, build deeper connections with their community, and learn leadership skills.

FUTURO emphasizes community engagement in many ways, including raising awareness on issues that impact that community and partnering with organizations that allow FUTURO students to become engaged within those communities. This can look like serving as volunteers for food drives, places of worship, disaster clean up, and homeless shelters.
