Objectives:
The Director of Marketing and Communications orchestrates a comprehensive strategy to drive earned revenue and audience expansion for TPAC’s presentations, seamlessly integrating advertising, promotions, sales, public relations, and data analytics. This role provides pivotal support to the Vice President of Marketing and Communications to optimize ambitious income growth, notably the expansion of Broadway at TPAC to a two-week market and the cultivation of audiences for wide-ranging programming, including dance, dramatic theatre, and family fare. The Director fosters a data-driven culture, leverages multi-channel strategies, and cultivates a highly collaborative team dynamic to achieve departmental excellence.

Skills & Knowledge:
Required: Bachelor’s degree with 8-10 years of experience in marketing. Extensive experience maximizing ticket sales and exceeding key performance indicators (KPIs). Innovation, creative direction, and abilities to work independently and direct a team. Excellent verbal and written communication. Passion for the performing arts and a belief in the importance of arts education and arts access.
Preferred: Master’s degree in marketing, business, or arts administration. Analytical tracking and reporting. Experience working with external agencies on creative projects and digital ad placement. Familiarity with market research and audience measuring tools.
