TLACC- Social Media Intern

Schedule: 15 – 20 hours per week

Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop, implement, and manage social media campaigns and strategies that align with
Chamber goals, including Constant Contact.
• Monitor and respond to user comments and messages in a timely manner.
• Track, analyze, and report social media key performance indicators (KPIs).
• Manage online presence on various social media platforms.
• Develop creative content for social media posts, including videos, memes, and
infographics.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest social media trends and technologies.
• Attend select events under staff supervision to develop an understanding of business
etiquette and networking in a professional setting.

Requirements and Qualifications
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Flexible work schedule.
• Experience in social media management, such as Constant Contact is not required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics is a plus but is not required.
• Proficient in using social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram,
Snapchat, Tiktok, etc.
• Energetic and eager to tackle new projects and ideas.

Physical Requirements
• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times.
