Shift: 3rd Shift (Sun-Thurs 11pm-7am) There may be occasional overtime and weekends.

Job Summary: Responsible for ensuring production is accurately and timely scheduled to maximize production efficiency. Provides oversight of quality, ensuring that high quality standards are applied at all times. Monitors systems to identify bottlenecks and ensure continuous operation.

Essential Functions:

  • Schedules all work for the shift, ensuring efficient operations; prioritizes work to meet SLAs
  • Develops and controls production schedules based on customer requirements
  • Analyzes daily scheduling reports to determine specific production work flow and predict daily production levels
  • Schedules work to optimize changeover, labor and production equipment usage
  • Provides data and analysist to assist shift supervisor in resource planning
  • Immediately notifies shift supervisor of issues impacting production workflow
  • Reports daily production needs and completions
  • Participates in providing direction and retraining where needed to insure efficient operations
  • Interacts with production management on a daily basis to resolve issues regarding manufacturing efficiencies, requests for data/information, and customer issues
  • Monitors work, making changes as needed, in order to maximize machine and employee efficiency

Minimum Requirements:

Specific Job Skills:

  • Bilingual Preferred
  • Must obtain IRS/Treasury Security Clearance
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Manufacturing process; LEAN manufacturing
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to organize and multi-task job responsibilities effectively
  • Proven commitment to providing excellent customer service within all dimensions of the job duties on a consistent basis
  • Ability to learn quickly and retain knowledge to apply to new situations

Education: High School Diploma; Associates Degree in Logistics

Experience: 5 years experience in manufacturing setting required

Language Skills: Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from a variety of both internal and external sources.
