ChildcareTennessee Initiative: In partnership with the Tennessee Department of Human Services (TDHS), ChildcareTennessee at The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee provides several resources and grants to Tennessee's licensed childcare programs. Our goal is to strengthen quality, increase capacity, and promote compliance with licensing standards to support improved child outcomes in early childhood education and enhance childcare programs.

The Client Experience and Reporting Associate works with the ChildcareTennessee team in assisting childcare agencies and performing various reporting functions.

Responsibilities

  • Manages helpdesk tickets, providing solutions and advice on issues, responding to emails and calls from child care agencies and directing them to the appropriate team member as necessary, documenting and analyzing issues and customer interactions for quality improvement.
  • Manages membership for ChildcareTennessee.com. This includes verifying new membership requests, terminating memberships, monitoring existing memberships (temporary and permanent), and maintaining all reports related to the membership roster.
  • Verifies grant applications from child care agencies for compliance/eligibility and for allowability of requests.
  • Coordinates the collection and completion of final reports, including review of reports to ensure compliance, assisting child care agencies, assisting the finance team with audit preparation, and communicating status updates to ChildcareTennessee staff and child care agencies.
  • Works with the ChildcareTennessee Grant Manager to collect and report monthly metrics to the Tennessee Department of Human Services.
  • Actively participates in all relevant meetings and events.
  • Additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

·         High school diploma/GED required

·         HelpDesk or customer service experience

·         Microsoft Office proficiency required

·         Google Workspace knowledge preferred

·         Basic math skills required

Additional Information

Job Type: Full-time, salaried

Hours: Typical work hours are M-F 8:30 – 4:30, though hours may vary at the discretion of the employee or supervisor, as the work requires
